Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Media Planner + Buyer located in Grand Rapids, MI. The position will be responsible for developing media strategies, conducting research, and planning/executing media campaigns alongside our Media Director. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing data, identifying audiences, researching placements, negotiating with vendors, and communicating with clients.
The ideal candidate has professional media buying experience, working with digital purchasing platforms such as Google Display & Video 360, Meta Business Suite, Spotify Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, as well as with vendors in media such as broadcast television, broadcast radio, out of home, and more.

Job Functions
- Strategize, research, build, present and execute paid media plans
- Communicate directly with vendors, negotiating on behalf of ECM clients
- Build, program, execute and oversee digital campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads, Search, Google
- Display & Video 360, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Spotify Ad Studio, and more
- Communicate and educate clients on media types, tactics, plans and details in a knowledgeable and professional manner
- Communicate with ECP creative team on deliverables, deadlines, etc
- Traffic final design files to various media vendors and portals
- Collect data and generate monthly media reports on campaign performance
- Help write and develop content for case studies
- Continued knowledge-seeking, training and certifications in emerging media trends and tactics
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent in media, marketing, communications or other applicable programs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to work independently, highly detail oriented
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the marketing or advertising industry, or with executing paid media campaigns
Additional Qualifications
- Passion for developing strategic and creative media plans for clients
- Certifications in Google Search, Google Display & Video 360, Meta Business, LinkedIn, etc are not required, but strongly encouraged
- Ability to give “extra” when needed

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Media Assistant at Extra Credit Projects in Grand Rapids, MI. The position will work directly with the Media Director in variety of capacities to support media buying and planning services for ECP clients, as well as general studio and ECP brand management.
The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn, above average attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a hard work ethic. Those who are capable, professional, flexible, self-starters, punctual and exude a positive attitude will thrive in our fast-paced, highly creative environment that always strives to give a little extra.

Job Functions
- Support the Media Director
- Communicate with vendors by phone and email
- Update ECP creative team on media deliverables, specs, deadlines, etc.
- Traffic final design files to various media vendors and portals
- Collect data and generate monthly media reports on campaign performance
- Help write and develop content for case studies
- Manage ECP social media channels and content
- Support ECP brand efforts, including press releases, award submissions, etc.
- Continue training and seek information in emerging advertising trends and tactics
Position Requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Highly detail oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs and Sheets
- No specific industry experience required, but a degree or relevant experience in a field such as media, advertising, PR or marketing is desired.
