Throughout 2022, our continued goal with the Gerald R. Ford International Airport campaign was to highlight the ease and convenience of travel and showcase their 30-plus nonstop routes. Using bold, simple imagery to inform local, regional, and diverse audiences and spark intrigue in travel, this campaign leveraged and elevated the brand’s identity in an ownable way.

Results

By the end of 2022 we had exceeded previous year passenger numbers by 19% and came within 3% of their record-breaking 2019 year. Through our integrated media mix we were able to deliver more than 199 million impressions to our audiences across West Michigan. The creative was also recognized nationally, winning multiple awards, including the Top Marketing Campaign – Small Hub Airport in North America by industry organization Airports Council International.
