Gerald R. Ford International Airport 60th Anniversary Campaign.

ECP pulled out all the (non)stops for Gerald R. Ford International Airport’s 60th Anniversary and launched a commemorative campaign to mark the occasion. The messaging of “Nonstop Peace of Mind Since 1963” worked to evoke the ease and convenience of travel from the airport and created a timely and relevant connection of the anniversary to today’s modern services and amenities found at GFIA.

Results

Throughout 2023 our goal was to exceed airport traveler numbers over our previous advertising year. Our efforts exceeded the goal and delivered higher-than-expected passenger numbers. We ended the year with 9.4% more passengers than 2022. We also exceeded the airport’s record-breaking 2019 number of total passengers by 5.8%, making 2023 their highest traveled year to date.
