Utilizing the established design equity from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport’s previous 60th anniversary promotions, the Send Yourself Campaign brought bold, simple visuals to their greater West Michigan audience through a variety of tactics including digital, social, out of home, on-premises and video advertising. The campaign illustrations highlighted the airport’s 35+ nonstop routes, as well as unique amenities and features that travelers will find inside the airport.
Results
The campaign delivered more than 280 million impressions across all media and had a 0.35% average clickthrough rate on display ads, 94% higher than industry average (0.18% CTR). The airport also had an all-time record for passengers in 2025 with more than 4.1 million travelers through Gerald R. Ford International Airport that year.
