GRAND RAPIDS, MICH — Grand Rapids advertising and design agency, Extra Credit Projects (ECP), won the most awards at last week’s American Advertising Federations (AAF) annual awards, hosted by the West Michigan chapter, for the fourth year in a row.
ECP won 17 awards, for nine clients locally and nationally, across 14 categories ranging from out of home to social media campaigns to nontraditional to public service and broadcast television.
“Great clients are the source of these awards. Leaders in healthcare, transportation, media, philanthropy and more inspire and allow us to do our best work,” said Rob Jackson, Principal and Executive Creative Director at Extra Credit Projects. “This multi-disciplinary list of ECP awards demonstrates our range of work and commitment to our integrated approach.”
“We also applaud the many in-house marketing departments and agencies who have returned to the competition this year, particularly in the video broadcast categories,” Jackson continued. “This shows how creativity in advertising is alive and well in West Michigan, and we believe these winning entries, along with ECP work, will represent our region well on the national stage.”
Winning entries will move on to the AAF District awards and will compete against top shops in a six-state region, including Chicago, Detroit and Indianapolis, before reaching the national competition later this year.
